FACTS AND FIGURES

Our current turnover of £4.1m is achieved by our workforce of 76 operating on three sites all of which are within a one-mile radius of each other. We occupy a total shop floor working space of 33,000 square feet. Our work force is split as follows 55% productive, 10% sales and estimating 5% administrative and 30% support staff.

Our machinery includes automated laser cutting, CNC Punching, fabrication and assembly, metal folding and welding systems. This means that you can expect automation at our plant to help you cut costs without damaging quality.

Whether its our Colgar / Starmatik Robotic Folding Cell or our automated laser cutters - you will be assured of high quality, precision products, delivered on time where and when you need them.

The Sandwell-based Confederation of British Metalforming [CBM] held its annual dinner and in 2008 and Leicester based Carlton Laser Services was rated Supplier of the Year. The supplier of the year award was made to the company that has demonstrated performance above the call of duty, demonstrating strategic alliances with both customers and suppliers to provide the best possible service to the industry. They enhance not only their own reputation but of the metalforming sector as a whole. The judges were particularly impressed by the detail and openness of their ‘warts and all’ submission.

The Leicester firm specialises in laser-cut and CNC-punched metal components, for a wide range of manufacturers and OEMs. Significant investment in equipment and processes has enabled it to sharply expand its customer base.
