The Club was officially opened on 11th June 1929 by H.R.H. Prince George and has been a private members Club for Serving Officers and Police staff since.

Egrove Park is Saïd Business School’s executive education centre situated in its own grounds of 37 acres of parkland just two miles from Oxford City Centre. Bird Hills is set in Berkshire's picturesque countryside with open fairways, plenty of water hazards and well placed bunkers. The par 72 course is carefully designed to provide an enjoyable round of golf for every level of golfer. The main clubhouse has a well stocked shop (American Golf) and a fantastic restaurant and bar providing you with meals and bar snacks at all times.
